The MacDonald Fund

Dr. Bill MacDonald was a highly respected physician leader who served as President of The Everett Clinic for many years. He was a life-long learner and was instrumental in building collaboration to enhance healthcare in Snohomish County.

The William MacDonald Leadership & Personal Development Fund was developed to honor the memory of Dr. MacDonald and to promote leadership, collaboration and enhancement of healthcare for the citizens of Snohomish County.

The Fund is financed through private donations and is administered by a volunteer committee through The Everett Clinic Foundation. Funds are allocated to Snohomish County healthcare professionals for the purpose of promoting leadership, collaboration and enhancement of healthcare, with an emphasis on Snohomish County.

Apply by May 1

The goal of the fund is to improve the overall health and wellness of our community through support of personal development and/or the enhancement of leadership skills of healthcare professionals.

Preference in the allocation of funds is given to:

  • healthcare related projects that take place in Snohomish County 
  • heathcare providers who are residents of Snohomish County 

One award is given annually, up to a maximum of $10,000.
