The Everett Clinic is extremely excited to have been named to FORTUNE® Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For." This year’s list includes some of the country’s best known and most successful companies including Google, Starbucks, Mayo Clinic, Microsoft and DreamWorks. The Clinic is one of 13 healthcare organizations nationally to make the list and one of only two medical organizations on the West Coast.

“We are extremely excited to have earned a coveted spot on this prestigious list. Best of all, being a great employer helps us meet our top core value: ‘We do what is right for the patient,’” said Rick Cooper, Chief Executive Officer.

To pick the 100 Best Companies, FORTUNE® partnered with the Great Place to Work Institute to conduct the most extensive employee survey in corporate America. Two-thirds of the Clinic’s score was based on the results of an employee survey which included questions to measure levels of trust, pride and camaraderie within the workplace.

The other third of the scoring was based on the Clinic’s response to the Institute’s Culture Audit, which included detailed questions about workplace practices including compensation, paid time off and benefit programs, internal communication, hiring, training and development opportunities, appreciation and recognition programs, giving back to the community and how the Clinic encourages fun among staff
