ARNP

An advanced registered nurse practitioner (ARNP) is a registered nurse who has advanced education and clinical training in a health care specialty area such as pediatrics, family practice, women's health, or geriatrics. All ARNPs have passed a certification exam in their specialty area and are licensed to independently perform physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, and provide health and wellness education.

CRNA

A certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) is a registered nurse who has received extensive training in the art and science of anesthesia. After passing a national certification examination, they are licensed as a CRNA and ARNP by the state. The CRNA provides anesthesia and anesthesia related services for patients in hospitals, surgical centers, mother/baby centers, and offices.

Ophthalmologists are medical doctors (MDs), who specialize in the comprehensive medical and surgical care of the eyes and vision. They are medically trained to diagnose and treat all eye and visual problems and to provide treatment and prevention of medical disorders of the eye including surgery.

Optician

Dispensing opticians make, verify, and deliver lenses, frames, and contact lenses following written prescriptions. They recommend eyeglass frames, lenses, and lens coatings and can also fix, adjust, and refit broken frames.

Optometrist

Doctors of Optometry are health care professionals trained and state-licensed to provide primary eye care services. These services may include comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases and vision disorders, low vision rehabilitation, and the prescribing of glasses and contact lenses.

Physician Assistant

|
A physician assistant (PA) is a licensed health care professional who practices medicine with the supervision of a physician. Physician assistants may conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illness, order and interpret tests, suture wounds, and develop and carry out treatment plans. In Washington State PA’s can also prescribe medication and treat patients when the physician is away from the practice. All physician assistants at The Everett Clinic are board certified.
