My philosophy is to treat my patients as I would want my family treated. Physician Assistants play an integral part on the medical team, allowing increased access to care. I have enjoyed providing primary care for many years, and the opportunity to work in general surgery and urology has provided me with additional ways to enhance my learning.
John Karabias, PA-C, joined The Everett Clinic in 2000. He received a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University. John taught high school biology prior to completing his Physician Assistant Training at USC School of Medicine. John is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a fellow member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Washington Academy of Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Physician Assistants in Occupational Medicine and the American Academy of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. John has a special interest in preventive medicine and patient education. In his spare time he enjoys golfing, working in his yard, hiking, spending time with his wife and three children and playing with his two golden retrievers.
