Michael J. Codsi, MD joined the Everett Clinic in 2007. He completed his medical degree at the University of Southern California in 1999, before going to Tufts University in Boston to complete his residency in Orthopaedic surgery. He then did his shoulder surgery fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic and became a staff surgeon at the Cleveland Clinic for two years. He published several original research articles on rotator cuff repair, biologic implants for rotator cuff repair, and the biomechanics of shoulder joint replacement. He has authored book chapters on arthroscopic rotator cuff surgery, complex reconstruction of the shoulder joint, and physical exam of the shoulder. His surgical expertise is in arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, arthroscopic instability repair, shoulder joint replacement, shoulder and elbow fractures, clavicle disorders, scapular winging, AC joint arthritis, arthroscopic labrum repair, frozen shoulder release, sports injuries, shoulder infections, elbow instability, elbow joint replacement, and tennis elbow.
