Arthroscopic Surgery
Our orthopedic surgeons have expertise in arthroscopic surgery (also known as arthroscopy). Arthroscopy is commonly used to treat rotator cuff tears, reconstruct knee ligaments such as the ACL, as well as many other injuries. This minimally invasive surgical procedure is performed using an arthroscope, which is a type of endoscope that is inserted into the joint via a small incision. Arthroscopic procedures can be performed to evaluate or treat different orthopedic conditions. Most typically, the knee, shoulder, elbow, wrist, ankle and foot joints are most commonly examined and treated by arthroscopy.
