Surgical Expertise
Everett Clinic surgeons have received specialized training from some of the most prestigious institutions across the country. We have providers who have completed fellowships in breast surgery, minimally invasive surgery and surgical oncology.
The
General Surgery department
specialties include:
Abdominal surgeons (specializing in hernia, colon surgeries)
Laparoscopic surgeons (specializing in all minimally invasive procedures including gallbladder, hernia, reflux esophagitis, adrenal, colon and solid organ and biliary surgeries)
Surgical oncologists (with special interests in breast, melanoma, liver/pancreas neoplasm and colon cancer)
Residency Training
The Everett Clinic has been training University of Washington surgery residents
since 2008 and is the only non-university based medical group to teach and train University of Washington surgery residents. The University of Washington surgery residents spend six weeks with our General Surgery department learning from and refining their surgical skills. The University of Washington chooses to send their surgery residents to The Everett Clinic because of our general surgery department’s high case volume, the expertise of our surgeons and the willingness and enthusiasm of our surgeons to teach and train. All of the surgeons in the department are clinical associate professors of surgery at the UW.
Recognition Among Peers
Many of our team members have been selected year after year by their colleagues as someone they would personally choose for their care as reflected in regional and national “top physician” listings.
