The William MacDonald Leadership and Personal Development Fund was established to honor the memory of Dr. William MacDonald. Dr. MacDonald was a highly respected physician leader who served as president of The Everett Clinic for many years. He was a life-long learner and was instrumental in building collaborations to enhance healthcare in Snohomish County.
Funds are allocated to Snohomish County healthcare professionals for the purpose of promoting leadership, collaboration and enhancement of healthcare, with an emphasis on Snohomish County. The Fund is financed through private donations and is administered by a volunteer committee through The Everett Clinic Foundation.
The goal of the fund is to improve the overall health and wellness of the community through support of personal development or the enhancement of leadership skills in healthcare professionals. Normally, one award is given annually, up to $10,000.
