The Everett Clinic is owned and operated by its physicians. They are personally invested in providing the best possible patient experience and making the Clinic a leading choice for healthcare.
Physicians have the opportunity to become owners (shareholders) after practicing for two years. Each eligible physician is reviewed by his or her department, which then makes a recommendation whether to consider the candidate for shareholder status.
The Clinic is governed by an elected Board of Directors made up of practicing physicians who are nominated by fellow physicians. All major policy decisions at the Clinic must be approved by the Board, which is led by its president. Operational issues are handled by administrative and physician management teams. The Clinic’s chief executive officer and chief medical officer attend Board meetings as non-voting members.
