James Santoro, OD, an optometrist with The Everett Clinic talks about contact lenses. More popular these days are daily lenses where you put a new contact lens in each morning and discard every night. Also popular for adults are multi focal contact lenses - basically a bifocal contact lens. Daily lenses provide more moisture during the day and can help patients with dry eye. It does take some training for younger contact lens wearers to ensure they can properly remove and insert a contact lens each day.
