“My goal is to help patients improve their quality life and get back to do doing the things they love by treating the root cause of their symptoms.”
I have a long history in medicine. I was a nurse for 13 years before returning to school to become a registered nurse practitioner. While doing my clinical studies, I found time and again that the problems I was treating patients for stemmed from a common root cause — sleep disorders. This, coupled with my passion for preventative medicine, naturally drew me into the field of pulmonology and sleep medicine. Preventative medicine means more times doing the things you enjoy, and less time managing a long list of prescriptions or office visits. My goal is to get you out of the doctor's office and back to the activities you love by treating the root cause of your health condition rather than just the symptoms. Being able to have a meaningful, positive impact on a person's health is immensely satisfying to me.
Why The Everett Clinic?
I had the opportunity to complete much of my clinical training at The Everett Clinic and was immediately impressed by the level of respect staff and providers showed for each other and, especially, for the patient. The way they lived the core value of doing what is right for each patient, without even having to say it, really stood out.
