“I believe in a true partnership between patient and physician.”
I believe in a true partnership between patient and physician. My favorite patients are the ones who ask plenty of questions and do their own research. It is important that both patient and physician work as a true team in the healing process. Passive patients and partially engaged physicians lead to poor outcomes. Occupational and Environmental Medicine is an extremely challenging and exciting specialty. I can evaluate diverse problems such as musculoskeletal injuries and chemical exposures in the same day, and keep an emphasis on prevention as the core of the specialty. I have a particular interest in varied treatment approaches to musculoskeletal pain, especially those with postural and ergonomic causes such as repetitive strain and myofascial pain. I also use my background as a strength and conditioning specialist to prescribe specific, directed home exercise recommendations as part of the treatment plan and to prevent reinjury.
Why The Everett Clinic?
The first core principle says it all: do what is right for the patient. This principle is actually practiced here daily at The Everett Clinic.
