“Being a therapist gives me a unique opportunity to offer new options and opportunities for growth to clients; hopefully making a positive difference in someone’s life.”
I greatly enjoy meeting all types of individuals, hearing their personal stories, and doing what I can go ensure that they are happy and healthy along their entire life-span. I greatly value partnering with patients and their families to understand their experience and to make sure their needs and questions are addressed. I believe every individual has inherent strengths that should be utilized in their quest for health, and I seek to build on these strengths as well as teach new ways of coping and living well.
I have a wide variety of experience working comprehensively with both individual and family systems alike spanning a wide age range from childhood to late adulthood. My interests and style are founded in my strengths-focused perspective, supporting and relating to individuals where they are, while helping them to see barriers, identify triggers to behaviors and emotions, and learn new patterns that promote growth, safety, and health sustainability.
Why The Everett Clinic?
I believe in The Everett Clinic’s mission of putting patients first and doing what’s right for each patient. I enjoy working in a clinical/medical setting and was pleased to join the Clinic as they continue to develop their approach to meeting clients where they are at, embedded in their communities. I strongly believe that our philosophy about patient-centered care is imperative, because ultimately it is the patient who is responsible for their healthcare and their voice should be always be heard and honored, so that we can best guide them.
