Dorcas (Dori) McLennan, MD
“Listening well, applying my experience and training, and by engaging with the patient, we have the shared goal of achieving the healthiest outcomes possible.”
I am a true “generalist OB/GYN” meaning that I treat a broad range of women’s health issues, but also enjoy seeing healthy women and optimizing their ongoing health through preventive practice. Caring for pregnant women, both high and low risk, is also of special interest to me. I enjoy working with women through their many exciting and challenging health transitions. Obstetrics and Gynecology provide me the right balance of medical thinking and surgical procedures. Plus, I get to have the amazing experience of delivering babies!
I strive to listen carefully, provide information and advice, and to engage each woman in her own health and outcomes. Shared decision making is critical. It’s a privilege to be involved in my patient’s lives throughout life.
I have become an avid cyclist and have traveled to more than 20 international locations pursuing this interest.
Brazilian culture, language, and music are a big interest as I was born in Brazil and lived there until my junior year in high school, when I moved to Everett.
Why The Everett Clinic?
The Everett Clinic has a great reputation in Snohomish County and I have the chance to help advance that style of care in the King County area. It’s exciting to have a chance to grow a practice in a beautiful new clinic setting while utilizing my long history of patient care within the area.
