Sarah Bergman Lewis, MD
“I believe in empowering families to competently be at the center of their children’s care. Together we can allow kids to shine as their best, resilient, healthy selves.”
I consider it an honor to guide families through the often murky territory of childhood illness, wellness and development. My own experience adapting to motherhood while being a pediatric resident convinced me that our job as primary care doctors is to lay out the safe—but wide—framework within which patients can find their own path. It is tempting to preach guidelines and be quick with advice, but more valuable to tailor our expertise to empower individuals to find their own way. Particularly in light of my experience as a parent, I strive to have conversations with patient families that are non-judgmental, honest and practical.
Why The Everett Clinic?
I was drawn to The Everett Clinic as a thoughtful, talented organization serving a diverse patient population well. The colleagues I join are drawn together under the goal of providing the best care possible to each individual, child and family. I am honored to find my own medical home as a provider at The Everett Clinic. I'm eager to partner with families through The Everett Clinic as they travel the rich and challenging journey of bringing up healthy and resilient kids.
