Soo Kim, MD, a ophthalmologist with The Everett Clinic discusses dry eyes. A lot of people experience dry eyes because of time spent at the computer, on phones, or reading. Anytime you are visually focused on something, you don't blink quite as often which causes increased air exposure. Make sure to take computer breaks every 15-20 minutes to blink your eyes, stay hydrated and use tear replacement drops if needed. Dry eyes tend to get worse as you get older and if you are female.
