For the fourth year in a row, The Everett Clinic has been named one of the Puget Sound Business Journal’s Top 75 Corporate Philanthropists. The Clinic was ranked #3 in the medium-sized business category at the 2014 Corporate Citizenship Awards on May 22 and noted for giving $794,000 to nonprofits in Snohomish County last year.
This honor is a reflection of dedicated contributions by The Everett Clinic Foundation, Clinic staff and physicians, and The Everett Clinic as a whole. The Clinic has been recognized for supporting its community through grants, fundraisers, sponsorships and donations.
In 2014, the Clinic has adopted Angels Among Us, a nonprofit that helps the homeless in Snohomish County, as an Operation Outreach partner. The Clinic has also partnered with Dawson Place Child Advocacy Center, a nonprofit serving child victims of sexual or physical abuse in Snohomish County.
This spring, the Clinic has been supporting nonprofits including: The American Red Cross of Snohomish County, Greater Everett Community Foundation, Bethany of the Northwest, Providence Hospice and Home Care of Snohomish County, March of Dimes, Snohomish Schools Foundation, Step by Step, Child Strive, Housing Hope, Tulalip Boys and Girls Club and Everett Community College Foundation.
