Clifford Hou, MD
"Every day, I hope that I am able to help my patients stay active and maintain their quality of life."
Orthopedics injuries are very common and can severely impact our lives. I chose to specialize in Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine because I enjoy taking care of motivated patients who enjoy participating in physical activities at a high level. I have completed an orthopedic sports medicine fellowship where we focused on surgical and rehabilitative strategies to treat high-level athletes to weekend warriors. It is rewarding to work together and find solutions to help people stay active and healthy.
I have a particular interest in arthroscopic surgeries for the shoulder, elbow, knee, and ankle. I also treat common injuries such as ligament and tendon tears, fractures, joint instability, and arthritis.
I enjoy the individualization of medicine. To me, this means getting to know my patients and spending time with them to discuss their goals before determining the most appropriate treatment strategy to keep them functional and pain-free.
Expertise in orthopedic sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery with a focus on minimally invasive treatment of shoulder and knee injuries. Special interests include performing joint stabilization procedures, ligament and tendon repair or reconstruction, as well as cartilage preservation and transplantation.
In my spare time, I enjoy basketball, cycling, running, and snowboarding.
Why The Everett Clinic?
