Joseph Drosdeck, MD
"I strive to create a partnership with patients and their family that utilizes open communication and joint-decision making to develop evidence-based, personalized treatment plans."
Surgical treatment often provides patients the best chance for long-term cure/resolution of specific medical problems. Nothing pleases me more than helping patients resolve a medical problem and attain a better quality of life. I treat my patients the way I would like to be treated or have my family treated when seeing a physician. I also believe that clear, effective communication is equally important as providing expert medical advice. I utilize these principles as the foundation of the professional relationships I develop with my patients.
I have fellowship (specialty training) in minimally invasive (laparoscopic, robotic) abdominal surgery and apply minimally invasive techniques to surgical disorders of the esophagus, stomach, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, adrenal glands, small and large intestine, and abdominal wall (hernia).
Why The Everett Clinic?
My approach to patient care fit nicely with the mission and workplace culture at The Everett Clinic. I am fortunate to work with a multidisciplinary team where all members are equally dedicated to providing patients with the best possible care and experience.
