The Health Benefit Exchange
As part of national health care reform, the Washington Health Benefit Exchange has created Washington Healthplanfinder, wahealthplanfinder.org. It’s an easy-to-use, online marketplace for individuals, families and small businesses in Washington state needing health insurance. You can compare and sign up for quality health insurance plans and find important cost savings.
You can buy insurance from any health insurance provider. Washington Healthplanfinder is unlike other websites that sell one company’s specific health insurance plan. It’s a central location where health insurance companies compete for your business. It helps you compare plans and find one that’s right for you.
Optum Care Washington is contracted with these Health Benefit Exchange plans:
- Kaiser Permanente (formerly Group Health) Exchange (Select locations and counties only)
- Lifewise Healthplan of Washington
- Molina Commercial Exchange
- Premera Exchange
- Regence Bridgespan (Real Value Network)
