Nariman Heshmati, MD
Senior Medical Director, Central Region
Nariman Heshmati, MD is a practicing board certified ob/gyn and the Associate Medical Director of Surgery. He joined the Everett Clinic in 2009.
Dr. Heshmati overseas thirteen departments including general surgery, urology, gastroenterology, ob/gyn, physiatry, comprehensive pain center, optometry, ophthalmology, ENT, orthopedics, hand surgery, anesthesiology, podiatry and our two ambulatory surgery centers.
He also serves as the Medical Director of Advocacy and partners with our Optum and United Health Group counterparts to coordinate The Everett Clinic’s legislative and regulatory advocacy efforts.
He remains widely involved in external organizations including serving as the 2nd Vice President of the Washington State Medical Association, Board of Trustees of the Washington State Medical Association, Alternate Delegate to the American Medical Association, past chair of the Washington Medical Political Action Committee, Chair of the WA Section of the American College of OBGYNs and on the WA board of The March of Dimes.
He attended medical school at Florida State University, where he served as class president and completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Vanderbilt University. He is a fellow of the American College of OBGYNs and currently enrolled in an executive MBA program at Seattle University.
