Anticoagulation
Excellent Care From Your Healthcare Team
The Everett Clinic Anticoagulation Clinic (ACC) helps you manage your anticoagulant medications including warfarin, dabigatran, rivaroxaban and apixaban. We offer ACC services at our Everett, Lake Stevens, Marysville, Mill Creek, Silver Lake, Smokey Point and Stanwood locations.
Anticoagulants help slow down the body’s clotting process, which minimizes the risk of forming blood clots for certain high-risk conditions. Our team works with you, your physician and your family to help manage your anticoagulants and provide you with the best care possible. Our knowledgeable and caring staff make you their top priority. Our team can provide you and your family with instructions and educational materials to understand the correct dosing of anticoagulant drugs.
Our team works with you to assess laboratory tests, adjust dosages, schedule follow-up appointments, monitor bleeding or clotting events and manage therapy prior to invasive procedures.
For most warfarin patients, we perform fingerstick protime/INR (International Normalized Ratio) tests, so that results are available immediately, and we may assist you in taking your anticoagulant medication correctly. This is a great opportunity for you to ask questions and report symptoms to your healthcare team.
