"I’m here to serve and assist my patients in whatever capacity I can, and I feel that it’s an honor to be able to do that. A relationship of mutual respect is necessary to deliver optimal care, and that’s what I strive for."
The idea of curing someone of cancer, prolonging their lives considerably, or even just minimizing discomfort through the process is motivating for me. It can be such a devastating diagnosis, and I like to be able to offer my patients assistance in any of the ways they may need support. The medicine is always improving and I like being a part of supporting research that furthers our ability to treat cancer effectively.
I love international travel and have done medical service trips to Peru, Vietnam, Belize, Mexico, and joined the Peace Corps in west Africa. I love to fly fish, hike, and spend time out on the water. My son and I love to cook and paint together as well.
Why The Everett Clinic?
I wanted to be part of an organization that has a standard of delivering high level, quality care. There’s a feeling of teamwork and support amongst the staff here, and I think it contributes to the way we can personally connect with patients and let them know they are well supported and cared for.
