Leif G. Vold, MD
“Each patient is different. My job is to listen, hear their concerns, their problems, and to create a treatment plan that is appropriate for them.”
I first decided on a career in medicine after I completed a medical project in Central Africa, helping a small village. That was my first real exposure to medicine and to the value of medicine, and I realized how much I enjoyed helping people and feeling like I was making a difference. I chose OB/GYN as a specialty because of the variety of skills, and the opportunity to share in the happiest moment of people's lives. I'm so proud of the focus and dedication our team as a department has on constantly educating ourselves, updating our practices and procedures. We can do so many things now, and do them better than we ever could before. I'm never done learning, I'm constantly learning, and that is the joy of medicine.
Why The Everett Clinic?
The Everett Clinic offers all the benefits of a large, comprehensive organization. This means a lot of the details of the practice, such as billing and insurance questions, are handled by administrative staff, which allows me to devote my time and energy solely to my patients, to providing them the best possible care.
