Lex Barker, PA-C
Lex grew up in West Virginia. He began his journey into the field of Medicine as an Army combat medic which is what first brought him to the Pacific Northwest. After his military service he transitioned into the role of ER technician at Tacoma General Hospital, followed by working as an orthopedic technician at Group Health. For the next six years, Lex explored the high desert of Idaho where he worked as a health technician at the Veteran’s Health Administration. These experiences ultimately led him to attending the MEDEX Physician Assistant program at the University of Washington where he earned his Bachelor of Clinical Health Sciences. Lex is a life-long learner who enjoys passing his expertise on to his patients, educating them, and empowering them to make healthy life choices. His return to the Puget Sound area has allowed him to again embrace his personal passions for clamming, kayaking, and the occasional camping trip to satisfy his zest for the outdoors.
