Nicole Barrett, LICSW
I take a strengths-based and individualized approach to treating patients I work with. I enjoy helping patients heal from trauma, improve communication in their relationships, and find different ways to think about events in their lives or relationships in their lives that are causing distress of any kind. I chose to specialize in mental health because I believe it is my purpose in life to help others find their purpose, overcome their fears and remove any barriers to living out their purpose.
Nicole Barrett has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Washington. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of experience working with various populations from children to older adults, from veterans to cancer patients and in various settings including hospitals, schools, clinics, homes and army bases. She specializes in treating people with depression and anxiety using CBT, treating people with PTSD or with trauma histories with EMDR, using EFT to improve communications in families and intimate relationships and play therapy to assist children with behavioral or emotional challenges.
Why The Everett Clinic?
I chose to practice at The Everett Clinic because I saw that the staff enjoy working and have been there for many years, which means that it must be a good place to work.
